Last week Birmingham witnessed the annual Accident Lawyers Alabama meet, which took place over two consecutive days. The purpose of this meet was mostly to discuss various laws and regulations, regarding safety, currently prevailing in the state of Alabama. Prominent lawyers from all over the state came to this convention to give speeches thus propagating a general awareness regarding safety. Various seminars were also conducted by the lawyers and prominent activists. The general topic of discussion was road safety and the responsibilities of accident lawyers to enforce justice in such cases. Though this convention was mainly focused on the people of Alabama, people from all over the country came to attend it, some of whom were lawyers themselves practicing in other states. The response from the common people was quite optimistic. The attendance this year was considerably higher in comparison to last year. The convention also acted as a source of advertisement and publicity for several newly established law firms.
